Wayward ducklings were rescued from a storm drain by Myrtle Beach police officers recently.

ACO Trott and PFC Suter saved six ducklings after a call came into Myrtle Beach police dispatch about the ducklings getting stuck in the storm drain, according to a Facebook post by the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

“…ACO Trott and PFC Suter came to the rescue, showing how much of an impact these officers had for the lives of our animal friends…,” department officials said in the posting.

Police said the ducklings were reunited with their mother and relocated to a nearby pond.
