Two Myrtle Beach beach accesses are closed Tuesday as city workers move forward with a camera installation project.
The beach accesses at 51st Avenue North and 52nd Avenue North will be temporarily closed for the day, according to authorities with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
The beach accesses at 49th and 50th Avenues North were temporarily closed Monday for surveillance camera installation.
The camera installation project is designed to make beach access points safer for the public.
Police said project coordinators are working quickly to limit the inconvenience of the closures.
More closures are expected as work continues, but no further information on future closings was available.
