How Myrtle Beach area residents can get a $20 gift card from the Chamber of Commerce

Want to get $20 gift card for simply rolling up your sleeve?

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber Of Commerce will host six mobile blood drives amid an ongoing national blood shortage.

The chamber has partnered with The Blood Connection, a local nonprofit agency, to provide up to 36 appointments for each drive, according to a Monday chamber press release. Donations may be given at hospitals in the Grand Strand.

Donors must register with the blood donation center. Participants will get a $20 gift card, the release said.

The first drive will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4.

Subsequent drives are on April 1, June 3, July 29, Sept. 23 and Nov. 18.

The drives will be in the chamber’s parking lot at 1200 North Oak Street.
