Two Myrtle Beach access areas are closed today

If you are headed to the beach today, you need to be aware of two beach access closings.

The access areas at 49th Avenue North and 50th Avenue North will be temporarily closed today.

Crews are installing surveillance cameras in these areas.

These installations are part of an on-going Myrtle Beach camera project to make the access points more secure.
