Horry County coroner identifies 2 killed in Longs Christmas Day crash

Authorities have identified the two people killed in a car crash on Christmas in Longs.

Tirrell Allen Gore, 38, and Dymond Alaneisha Gibson, 20, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash just before 1 a.m. Dec. 25, Horry County Coroner Robert Edge said.

The head-on collision happened on Pine Needle Drive near Monterrey Drive in the Fremont section of Longs, Edge said.

Gore and Gibson were from Longs, Edge said. The two were in separate vehicles and neither wore a seat belt. A third person was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
