Conway man dies on job site after being electrocuted

A 55-year-old man from Conway who worked for Quality Electric died after being electrocuted at a job site Friday, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick.

The man was electrocuted while at the job site on Highway 57 and was taken by ambulance to Sea Coast Medical Center in Little River where he was pronounced dead, according to Hendrick.

The man’s identity will be released after the victim’s family has been notified.
