A 13-month-old girl died after a car crash in Horry County over the weekend.

Zalisa Daniels, of Longs, died at a local hospital Sunday from injuries she sustained in a car wreck on Highway 90 near Lee Street, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

Lee Street is near the Lee’s Landing section of Horry County.

Daniels was one of seven people injured in the car wreck.

Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the car wreck about 1 p.m. Sunday. Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Seven people total were injured, according to a Facebook post made by the agency.

The wreck happened when a westbound 2015 Hyundai SUV crossed the center line on Highway 90 and hit an eastbound 2004 Nissan SUV, said Master Trooper Brian Lee with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Daniels was a passenger in the 2015 Hyundai SUV, according to Lee.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
