One person had to be extricated from a car after wrecking into a post office building in Horry County.

Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the crash about 12:25 p.m. Thursday, according to a tweet from the agency.

The wreck happened at the post office on 4299 North Horseshoe Road in Little River, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. The person pulled from the car was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash, according to the tweet.
