A woman with autism is missing from the Myrtle Beach area and police believe she is in danger.

Rebecca Stewart, 28, was last seen about 10:30 p.m. Sunday near Backwoods Road in Socastee, just outside of Myrtle Beach, according to Horry County police.

Stewart has autism and is considered endangered, according to a Facebook post from the Horry County Police Department.

She is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 113 pounds, police said. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Stewart was last seen wearing a purple hoodie, black tank top, pink and white pajama shorts, and flip-flops.

Horry County police said anyone who sees Stewart or knows where she is should call the department at 843-248-1520.

The Horry County police Facebook post said Stewart was last seen near a Backwoods Drive, which is near Florence. Backwoods Road is near Myrtle Beach.
