Police say you may hear a loud boom after military ordnance discovered in resident’s shed

Myrtle Beach police announced Thursday afternoon that some people may hear a large boom after a resident discovered an unexploded ordnance in their shed.

The resident found the military relic in their shed when they were cleaning.

Officers responded to the residence and then contacted the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Air Force EOD, which will be disposing of the ordnance.
