Firefighters battle early-morning blaze in NMB

North Myrtle Beach Fire and Rescue firefighters were on the scene of a structure fire early Tuesday morning, and Horry County firefighter helped extinguish the blaze.

Crews responded about 1 a.m. to a home on the 4700 block of Little River Neck Road, which has been shut down while crews continue to work, and found a storage shed very close to a home and wooded area to be “fully involved,” according to a Facebook posting from the NMBFR department.

The firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control using a blitz attack by first-arriving crews, and the cause has not yet been listed, according to the social media post.

More details will be released as they are provided. Please check back for story updates.
