Here’s where the Grand Strand’s newest Five Guys restaurant is being constructed
Five.
Fittingly, that’s how many Five Guys Burgers and Fries the Grand Strand will offer.
A new Five Guys building is going up in the building that used to house Hardee’s at the intersection of Queens Harbour Boulevard and U.S. 17 Bypass in the Socastee/Surfside Beach area. The building was still being worked on as of Thursday afternoon and there have yet to be any listings online about the future restaurant.
It’s unclear when the restaurant will be open.
Five Guys is known for its made-to-order burgers and fresh-cut fries. It also offers several types of hot dogs, including kosher, and sandwiches, including veggie ones. The restaurant also offers a variety of milkshakes.
The Grand Strand currently has four Five Guys restaurants: Myrtle Beach (1772 Pine Island Road) and (10835 Kings Road), Murrells Inlet (804 Inlet Square Drive Unit A) and North Myrtle Beach (1200 Hwy 17 North).
The Murrell family opened its first Five Guys in Arlington, Virginia in 1986 and now has more than 1,500 locations in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
