Ripley’s Aquarium is hosting its first-ever Dive In Theater tonight. Here are the details
Ripley’s Aquarium is getting into the drive-in movie business.
The aquarium will host its first-ever Dive In Theater tonight as it shows “Aquaman” on a 40-foot screen.
The dive-in theater will be set up in the Myrtle Beach aquarium’s parking lot at Broadway at the Beach. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie is set to play at 8:30 p.m., rain or shine unless weather proves hazardous.
“Enjoy the movie from the comfort of your own vehicle — safely distanced with staggered parking,” Ripley’s states.
Tickets start at $10 per person for those 4 years old and older, while anyone 3 or younger gets in free. Premium tickets in the front row of the “Norman section” start at $15.
Concessions will be available, and a map of the parking lot set up is available on Ripley’s website.
So far, this dive-in theater is the only one listed on Ripley’s Facebook page. An email inquiring as to whether this will be the first of several such events was not immediately answered.
