Two hurt after car crashes into candy shop in North Myrtle Beach

Two people were hurt after a car crashed into a North Myrtle Beach Candy shop Friday morning.

A white BMW smashed through the side wall of Sugar Life candy and ice cream store at 27th Avenue South and U.S. 17, according to city spokesman Pat Dowling.

One person had minor injures and the other person had a possible broken ankle, according to Dowling.

Police and fire crews responded to the area for the crash.
