Juvenile hit by a car in downtown Myrtle Beach, police on scene
A juvenile went to the hospital after being hit by a car in one of Myrtle Beach’s most popular stretches.
Police were called to 9th Avenue North near Withers Alley around 4:30 p.m. Friday for the incident. The alley is near several arcades and other popular tourist attractions.
Myrtle Beach Cpl. Thomas Vest said one juvenile went to the hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
A small crowd gathered near the scene to watch police investigate. A green jeep was stopped near a parking lot with hits wheel severely bent.
