Two North Strand residents die following motorcycle crash in North Myrtle Beach
Two people from the North Strand died from injuries they suffered in a motorcycle wreck Friday night, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
John Dixon, 30, and Brittany Kotterman, 33, both of the Longs/North Myrtle Beach area, died in the crash, the coroner’s office states. The wreck happened at 6th Avenue South and U.S. 17, though few details have been released.
The coroner’s office listed the two as the driver and passenger and did not indicate that another vehicle was involved. Neither the South Carolina Highway Patrol nor the North Myrtle Beach Department of Public Safety had released any details as of Saturday afternoon.
