No SC’s Largest Garage Sale in Myrtle Beach this year. City says stay tuned for 2021 date
South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale has been canceled for 2020.
The sale, held annually at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, has been scrapped this year due to the coronavirus.
“We regret to report that South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale is being canceled this year in light of COVID-19,” the City of Myrtle Beach stated in a Facebook post Friday evening.
The sale had been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3 this year.
South Carolina’s Largest Garage Sale draws thousands of vendors and shoppers annually. Before moving to the convention center, the bargain-hunting event was held in the old, multi-level Pavilion Parking Garage.
“It would have been the 32nd annual event. Instead, we’ll shoot for 2021, so stay tuned for that date, which likely will be announced sometime after the first of the year!” the City of Myrtle Beach stated.
