Horry County Coroner identifies pedestrian killed in Galivants Ferry
A 45-year-old pedestrian was killed during a weekend collision in the Galivants Ferry area.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office reported that Richmond Sheppard, of Galivants Ferry, died of multiple traumatic injuries from the wreck.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 501 near Floyd Page Road in Galivants Ferry. Sheppard died on Monday at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
