Police, EMS respond to possible child drowning at Myrtle Beach resort

Emergency crews responded to a possible child drowning at a Myrtle Beach hotel on Sunday evening.

Myrtle Beach police are at the Crown Reef Resort, 2913 S. Ocean Blvd., for the reported drowning. Cpl. Thomas Vest said the juvenile victim was taken to the hospital.

EMS and police crews both responded to the hotel around 7:45 p.m. for the incident.

Vest said the child was alert at the hospital and expected to make a full recovery.
