New bar and restaurant in North Myrtle Beach offering hundreds of beers sets opening date
How does a world of beer sound?
Residents and visitors of North Myrtle Beach will soon have the chance to test beers from all around the world as World of Beer Bar & Kitchen is set to open in the Coastal North Town Center.
World of Beer, which offers flavors from more than 40 countries, is set for a grand opening on July 1.
“World of Beer has always been committed to offering an unparalleled craft beer experience,” Paul Avery, President and CEO of World of Beer, said in a prepared statement. “And to celebrate the opening of our first North Myrtle Beach location we wanted start are opening right with our World of Beer Happy Hour 4-7 p.m.”
The venue will host a “Drink It In” happy hour Monday through Friday from 4-7 p.m. Features include $4 drafts of select beers, $5 spirits that include select liquor drinks, $5 shareable food specials and $6 wine offerings.
In addition to a beer selection of more than 300 flavors, World of Beer offers a beer-inspired food menu with offerings such as a German pretzel served with beer cheese, macaroni and cheese, cheese bites with sriracha lime aioli, WOB COBB salad and some protein-based bowls. Each of these menu items will be available for lunch dinner and late-night snacks.
The North Myrtle Beach World of Beer Bar & Kitchen, located at 1386 Highway 17, is third such franchise in South Carolina. The other locations are in Columbia and Hilton Head Island.
The Noth Myrtle Beach business will be open Monday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-12 a.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-1 a.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
World of Beer originated in Tampa, Florida, where its headquarters is located.
