Congressman Tom Rice says he and family members tested positive for coronavirus

Congressman Tom Rice, R-7, said he and members of his family tested positive for the coronavirus early last week.

Rice, currently seeking re-election, posted to his official Facebook page that he, his wife and son all tested positive for COVID-19. He called the virus the “Wuhan Flu” in his announcement.

His son had the worst symptoms, but as of Monday everyone seemed to be recovering well. Rice said he only had mild symptoms but missed the taste of bacon.

He reminded everyone to please continue washing their hands and taking precautions.
