This new milkshake bar is bringing ‘insane’ shakes to Myrtle Beach’s Market Common

Step aside, regular milkshakes. There’s a new squad in town.

With 18 ice cream flavors, endless amounts of combinations and more than 40 toppings, The Crazy Mason milkshake bar is bringing next-level shakes to Myrtle Beach. The new spot opened Friday in the front area of 810 Billiards & Bowling at The Market Common.

Husband and wife Bo and Sherri Steele decided to start The Crazy Mason because they believed Bo’s experience in the food industry and Sherri’s sweet tooth could make a great combination. Then the two came up with “insane milkshake” recipes, Bo Steele said.

“This is just a place to come in and escape for a minute,” he said.

Business has not slowed down after the couple announced their opening on Facebook, he said. And they had to close early Tuesday after running out of ice cream due to a huge turnout of customers.

“It’s a blessing,” he said. “I hope this is the tip of the iceberg.”

Milkshakes range from birthday cake to s’mores to mermaid style shakes and are served in Mason jars with elaborate toppings. Customers can build their own shakes or order from the menu, which will soon include a line of vegan ice cream.

The milkshake bar is open from 3 p.m. until at least 10 p.m. daily, Bo Steele said.
