Live updates: Horry County polls are closed and unofficial results are coming in

South Carolinians took to the polls today with or without masks to cast their votes in the 2020 statewide partisan primaries.

While there were issues with getting folks the right ballots earlier in the morning, the matter was addressed quickly.

Polls closed at 7 p.m. and the vote counting and certification process is underway. Preliminary results will be reported in this article, but the final results won’t be available until later in the week after the board of elections certifies them.

These are all the races Horry County residents could vote in depending on their districts. Links go to more information about the candidates and an asterisk notes an incumbent.

Vote totals will change as more precincts report in or as new information is available. As of 8: a.m. Monday morning 100 percent of precincts in Horry County and South Carolina had reported in.
