Coroner names pedestrian killed after being struck by vehicle in Myrtle Beach

The Horry County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a pedestrian who was killed on 17th Avenue South in Myrtle Beach on Thursday morning.

Kathleen Heru, 67, died at the scene of the crash due to injuries, said chief deputy coroner Tamara Willard. Heru was originally from Rhode Island, Willard said.

Myrtle Beach Police Department continue to investigate.
