CVS Pharmacy to begin coronavirus testing at locations in the Myrtle Beach area

Two CVS Pharmacy locations on the Grand Strand will begin offering coronavirus drive-thru testing Friday, according to a release from CVS Health.

CVS locations at 1303 38th Ave. N. in Myrtle Beach and 3411 Socastee Blvd. will start testing people with self-swab tests who meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria, in addition to state and age guidelines.

All patients must register at CVS.com prior to visiting the testing locations.

CVS plans to open 15 new test sites throughout South Carolina as part of its effort to establish 1,000 locations across the country by the end of May, the release states.
