Horry County Coroner’s Office names victim who died in crash off S.C. 905 in Longs

A 47-year-old Aynor woman died Monday from injuries she suffered in a single-vehicle crash the day before off S.C. 905 in Longs, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

The coroner’s office identified the victim as Tara Anderson.

At approximately 3:45 p.m. Sunday, Horry County Fire Rescue crews went to a vehicle vs tree crash near 12803 N. Hwy. 905. Anderson was trapped inside a vehicle after the wreck and went to the hospital with “serious injuries,” HCFR reported.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
