Mother’s Day meal guide: Where to dine outside or pick-up food this weekend

It’s possible your favorite Myrtle Beach area restaurant will be open for outside dining this Mother’s Day as some spots have reopened outdoor areas following being temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This week, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster allowed restaurants to reopen outside dining spaces and use parking lots to accommodate customers. Most Grand Strand restaurants have remained open during the pandemic with limited services, including curbside pick-up, to-go and delivery orders.

Here is a list of some Myrtle Beach-area restaurants serving meals through Mother’s Day weekend:

  • Longhorn Steakhouse locations in North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach plan to serve meals through its curbside to-go service. Meal orders may be placed at http://www.longhornsteakhouse.com/.
  • Olive Garden locations in the Myrtle Beach area are serving a Mother’s Day Family-Style Take & Bake Bundle. The giant cheese stuffed shells serve up to 5 people and start at $40 and the classic lasagna serves up to 8 people, starting at $50, according to a release.   • Croissants in Myrtle Beach is offering a curbside menu. Here’s where to check it out. The restaurant is now open for outside dining at both it’s 38th Avenue North and Kings Highway locations.
  • Hook & Barrel in Myrtle Beach has an option to order online here. The restaurant is open for curbside dinner pick-ups Wednesday through Saturday.
  • Crave Italian Oven & Bar’s patio will be open 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mother’s Day. Here’s how to make a reservation.
  • Magnolia’s at 26th in Myrtle Beach is serving Mother’s Day carry-out specials. Meals feed between 5 and 6 people and are $64.99. Call 843-839-3993 to place and order.
  • Flying Fish Market & Grill in North Myrtle Beach is serving meals outside and a Mother’s Day curbside pick-up feast. Orders for Mother’s Day must be made by 8 p.m. Friday. Here are the details.
  • Rivertown Bistro in Conway has reopened its outdoor patio and balcony areas for guests. Though the restaurant is closed on Mother’s Day, it is open for lunch and dinner Saturday.
  • The Trestle Bakery and Cafe in Conway has the sweet treats you need to pick up for mom this weekend. The bakery is open for pick-up from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
