Investigation underway after apartment fire in Carolina Forest
An investigation is ongoing following an apartment blaze in the Carolina Forest area of Horry County, according to Tony Casey with Horry County Fire Rescue.
The fire started at an apartment complex off Ashley Park Drive and Wando River Road, which are close to Carolina Forest Boulevard. Firefighters responded to the area at 3:38 p.m. and by about 4:30 the fire was under control.
Several units were affected, but there were no injuries, Casey said.
Members from the Myrtle Beach Fire Department are assisting with the blaze.
