No injuries reported after fire at Horry County apartment complex

There were no injuries reported during a fire at an Horry County apartment complex on Monday evening.

Around 5:30 p.m., Horry County fire crews went to Rexford Court for the blaze. Horry County Fire Rescue Spokesman Tony Casey said there were no reported injuries.

Rexford Court is home to the Claypond Commons, which is located near U.S. 501.

Crews were still at the scene nearly two hours after the blaze was reported. Several units were damaged by smoke and fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A pilot flying overheard grabbed photos of the fire coming from the complex and shared them with The Sun News.
