Pedestrian dies after being hit by a truck on S.C. 9 in Horry County
A pedestrian died after being hit by a truck on S.C. 9 on Friday night.
A 2006 Chevrolet truck was driving south on the highway when the driver hit a pedestrian, South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brian Lee said. The wreck happened around 9 p.m.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office has not identified the victim.
Lee said no charges are expected against the truck driver.
