Dinosaurs and magic: See these entertainment show additions at Broadway at the Beach
Dinosaurs are returning to Broadway at the Beach.
Dino Park, which will feature more than 20 animatronic dinosaurs, is scheduled to open in April, according to Broadway at the Beach’s website.
The park, which will be located in Heroes Harbor in the building that last year featured Bodies Human: Anatomy in Motion, advertises life-sized dinosaurs in a “unique true-to-life setting” that includes detailed, large replicas of the prehistoric animals in a park as part of a “one of a kind attraction.”
The exhibit will feature a 100,000-ball Dino Explore Pit and includes activities such as the “Dig a Dino Fossil” and the “ginormous Tyrannosaurus Rex” ride.
Broadway previously had an offering called Dinosaurs The Exhibition, but it’s unclear if the two are connected. Attempts to reach Jay Lodge with CEO Dublin Worldwide productions USA, which is putting on the Dino Park, were unsuccessful.
In addition, Charles Bach Wonders will return for 2020, according to Rodriguez. Bach, who debuted at Broadway in 2019, puts on a live magic and illusion show at the former Big D/IMAX theater. Billed as an imaginative and interactive theatrical experience, Charles Bach Wonders blends magic with whimsical visuals.
Broadway at the Beach also recently announced Le Grand Cirque 2.0 will set up a tent at Broadway at the Beach, offering eight shows a week from June to October.
The entertainment property has had several longtime businesses close in recent months along with announcements of future developments.
