Where are you watching the Super Bowl? Here are watch parties around the Myrtle Beach area
Do you know where you’re watching the Big Game?
Super Bowl LIV is days away and Myrtle Beach-area bars and restaurants are hosting watch parties as the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs face off at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
These are some spots across the Grand Strand that have parties and catering planned on Sunday if you decide not to have a watch party at home:
Dagwood’s Deli & Sports Bar in Surfside is offering prize packages for folks who visit to watch the Big Game, according to its Facebook. The restaurant, with a menu featuring wings, party subs and salads, also has catering options.
Handley’s Pub & Grub is one of several spots in Carolina Forest to check out the game. According to the pub’s Facebook, you can “hit the easy button” and get your party catered.
RipTydz on Ocean Boulevard will show the game on its 250-inch television, and will have a cornhole tournament, drink and food specials and “Super Prizes,” including a Samsung 55-inch smart television, according to its Facebook.
Tin Roof’s watch party will feature 15 televisions and a projector screen for the game, according to the Ocean Boulevard restaurant’s website. Folks can reserve a free table, and enjoy $15 domestic beer buckets, $3 mimosas, $10 smoked wings, $5 nachos and other drink and food specials.
Dave & Buster’s at Broadway at the Beach is selling tickets for reserved seating to watch the football game, as well as play unlimited games and enjoy its appetizer buffet. Tickets are $28 and may be purchased through Dave & Buster’s Facebook or at eventbrite.com.
Oscars in North Myrtle Beach will host a free oyster roast from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on game day, along with food and drink specials, according to the restaurant’s Facebook. The spot will also have live entertainment from Porch Crickets.
Danny Lee’s Place in Socastee plans to serve free appetizers starting at 5:30 p.m. on game day. With doors opening at noon, the restaurant will offer drink specials, including $11 domestic buckets and shot specials.
