Brewery founded on the Grand Strand to open new location

A brewery with a low-country style menu has opened a new location in the Murrells Inlet area.

Quigley’s Pint & Plate, founded in Pawleys Island, is now open at the Shoppes at Tournament Boulevard just off S.C. 707.

The Murrells Inlet location will be the second for Quigley’s, a pub with a menu full of Southern dishes and a spot that brews its own homemade ales and lagers, including a peach beer. The original location in Pawleys opened in 2007.

A breakfast place also founded in 1997 in Pawleys Island opened recently in the center. Eggs Up, with more than 35 locations in the southeast, is now serving breakfast and lunch. It’s menu includes benedicts, omelets and burgers.

The shopping center is anchored by Lowes Foods and CVS Pharmacy, and includes Lucky Panda, Pizza Hut and Shiki Sushi.
