This Market Common coffee shop is expected to close its doors

The Market Common’s local coffee shop and roaster is closing next month.

The Roasted Bean, located on Howard Avenue in Myrtle Beach, served coffee, espresso, teas and a variety of other coffeehouse staples. It also roasted its own coffee beans in house.

On Thursday, the coffee shop posted on its Facebook page that after six years of operation its lease was up, and the landlord would not be renewing it. The final day of operation will be Feb. 15.

“With careful consideration, we will not take the energy to look for a new location. If anyone would like to take that on and take The Bean to new levels, private message us,” according to the Facebook post.
