Several students taken to the hospital following Conway area bus crash

At least four students are being transported to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus Tuesday morning in the Conway area, said Tony Casey with Horry County Fire Rescue.

Crews were dispatched to 3990 W. Highway 501 about 7:55 a.m. after reports of a wreck. A truck rear-ended a Conway High School bus with 42 students on board, said Lisa Bourcier with Horry County Schools.

At least four students were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries, Casey said.
