Myrtle Beach Fire Department responds to ‘possible drowning’ at Ocean Blvd resort

Myrtle Beach Fire Department is responding to a possible drowning at an Ocean Boulevard resort Friday afternoon, said Lt. Jon Evans with MBFD.

One person was transported to the hospital, Evans said.

Police and fire crews were called to the Sandy Beach Resort, at 201. S. Ocean Blvd., just before 2 p.m. after reports of a possible drowning at a pool.
