Horry County coroner names pedestrian killed in Myrtle Beach crash

The Horry County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a 28-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in Myrtle Beach on Saturday.

Travis Parker of Conway died of injuries he sustained in the collision, said Patty Bellamy, Horry County Deputy Coroner.

Parker was struck at the intersection of 79th Avenue North and 17 Bypass on Saturday morning, Bellamy said.
