Two people injured after roof collapse in Little River shopping center

Two people were hurt after a roof collapsed at a Little River shopping center.

The injuries are not believed to be life threatening, Horry County fire officials said, with people removed from the building shortly after fire crews arrived at the scene.

The roof collapsed around 1:50 p.m. Thursday afternoon at 4340 Big Barn Drive in Little River off S.C. Highway 90, officials said.

While officials didn’t specify which storefront’s roof collapsed, the address comes back to a Repeat Junction Vintage Shops at “The Red Barn.”
