Incubus sets new date, Grammy winner added to North Myrtle Beach House of Blues lineup

Incubus has set a new date to perform on the Grand Strand after having to cancel a December show, and the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach has added a Grammy Award-winning artist to its lineup.

The local House of Blues announced recently that Incubus will perform May 15, 2020 after postponing a Dec. 7 show because the band’s lead vocalist, Brandon Boyd, was fighting an infection. HOB will honor tickets still in hand for the previously scheduled show and other tickets for the 2020 show are now on sale.

“LOW TICKET ALERT! Only 25 tickets left for incubus on May 15. HURRY! This show is soon to be SOLD OUT!” House of Blues said in a Friday Facebook post.

The venue also recently announced that Grammy Award-winning guitarist Eric Johnson will be performing March 28. Tickets are on sale for “An Evening with Eric Johnson,” HOB announced. Johnson, who sings and plays other instruments in addition to guitar, won a Best Rock Instrumental Grammy Award for “Cliffs Over Dover” in 1992 and has six other nominations to his credit.

Incubus, meanwhile, finished up its “20 Years of Make Yourself and Beyond” tour and has already set dates for 2020, including the North Myrtle Beach show.

“Thank you to everyone that came out and saw us on the #20yearsofmakeyourself tour this year! It was such a memorable run, with so many great shows and amazing people! We had a blast and can’t wait to see you all on our next tour! See you very soon!” the band tweeted earlier this month.
