Five people sent to hospital after multi-vehicle crash in Myrtle Beach area

Horry County Fire Rescue asks drivers to avoid an area of S.C. 707 after a 4-vehicle crash sent five people to the hospital Tuesday morning.

Crews were called to S.C. 707 just north of Big Block Road in the Myrtle Beach area after the multi-vehicle wreck about 10:15 a.m., according to HCFR. Five people suffered injuries and were transported to the hospital.

Authorities said 707 is shut down in the area and lanes are expected to reopen soon.
