Horry County coroner names driver killed in SC 22 single-vehicle crash

The Horry County Coroner’s Office has named a 71-year-old killed in a crash on S.C. 22 in the Conway area Wednesday morning.

William Greenway, 71, of the Myrtle Beach area, died from injuries sustained in the single-vehicle crash, said Horry County Coroner Robert Edge.

The crash was reported about 11:30 a.m. after a Ford Edge driving east on S.C. 22 ran off the right side of the road and struck a bridge pillar near S.C. 319, said Cpl. Sonny Collins with South Carolina Highway Patrol.
