Here’s why Incubus has postponed its House of Blues concert scheduled for Saturday night

Incubus fans in Myrtle Beach are going to have to wait to see the band perform here.

Tonight’s scheduled performance at the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach has been postponed due to one of Incubus’ band members being under the weather. Brandon Boyd, the band’s lead vocalist, is fighting an infection, Incubus said via Twitter.

“To our fans in Myrtle Beach… we thought we’d be able to see you this weekend, but unfortunately Brandon’s sinus infection has worsened and we will not be able to perform at Saturday night’s show,” the band tweeted late Friday night.

Incubus also had to postpone a show scheduled for Thursday in Raleigh as Boyd came down with the illness.

“Well, it was great while it lasted. My cold got the better of me the last few days and it’s shifted some plans around. To Raleigh, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC, we’ll be back to do the thing as soon as possible,” Boyd tweeted Saturday.

As of Saturday afternoon a makeup date had not been announced.

“Please stay tuned for more information as we are working on rescheduling this show along with the Raleigh date,” Incubus tweeted. “We are very sorry but can’t wait to see you all very soon!”
