Horry County coroner names driver killed in Myrtle Beach-area crash

A 21-year-old was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Myrtle Beach area early Monday morning, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

Justice Jordan of Loris died in the wreck on Waccamaw Boulevard, said Patty Bellamy, deputy coroner with the coroner’s office.

The victim was driving a 2008 Honda traveling north on Waccamaw Boulevard and ran off of the road about 2 a.m., said Cpl. Sonny Collins with South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was not wearing a seat belt, Collins said.

SCHP is investigating the wreck.
