One person seriously injured in overnight shrimp boat incident on Intracoastal Waterway

One person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after a “medical emergency” on a shrimp boat on the Intracoastal Waterway overnight.

Horry County Fire Rescue was dispatched just after 1 a.m. Friday after reports of the incident on the boat near the Little River Inlet, officials say.
