Horry County coroner: 22-year-old killed in North Myrtle Beach crash
A 22-year-old man was killed in a single vehicle crash in North Myrtle Beach Friday morning, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
The crash happened on Robert Edge Parkway about midnight, said North Myrtle Beach Spokesperson Pat Dowling. When police arrived, the driver was unresponsive and “heavily entrapped” in the vehicle, he said.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene due to injuries in the crash, Dowling said.
The coroner’s office will release the name of the victim after family is notified.
North Myrtle Beach police are investigating.
