Crews from Horry County Fire & Rescue and the Tabor City Fire Department are fighting a 4-acre brush fire off Bertie Road in the Loris area near the border with Tabor City, N.C.
The fire was reported around 5 p.m.
There are no injuries and there is no current threat to people or property, according to an Horry County Fire & Rescue official.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., HCFR responded to the area of Bertie Road near Tabor City to combat a four-acre brush fire.
Crews brought with them various engines including brush trucks.
