One person dies in overnight fire at Aynor home, officials say

A 69-year-old woman died in a fire at an Aynor home shortly after midnight Wednesday, officials say.

According to a tweet from Horry County Fire Rescue, one person died in the blaze. The Horry County Coroner’s office confirmed the victim as Priscilla Beaty. She was the only fatality in the fire at the Ollie Lane home that’s near Highway 319.

The fire’s cause remains under investigation.
