A cold front is expected to bring chilly weather to the Grand Strand, ending with a freeze watch over the next two days, the National Weather Service reports.

On Monday, the front was forecast to bring thunderstorms through the early afternoon. A freeze watch is in effect Tuesday and Wednesday nights, with temperatures in the low 30s by Tuesday morning.

According to NWS, areas that do not reach freezing by Wednesday morning will feel the effects by Thursday.
