Texas woman dies after suffering injuries while crossing Myrtle Beach street
A Texas woman died several days after being struck by a vehicle while trying to cross U.S. 17, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler.
Dorthy Godwin died from traumatic brain injury on Monday.
Godwin was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 17 and 10th Avenue South on Oct. 10, Fowler said.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating the incident.
