24-year-old dies in single-vehicle crash on Horry County road

A 24-year-old from Latta died in a single vehicle crash on Tuesday morning on Secondary 31, Red Bluff Road.
On Wednesday, Horry County Deputy Coroner identified Michaela Gandy as the driver killed in the wreck.
A 2011 Nissan was traveling north about 1:45 a.m. when it ran off the road and struck a ditch and a tree, South Carolina Highway Patrol Cpl. Sonny Collins Collins said.
It’s unknown if Gandy wore a seat belt.
